Since 2015, Aclevo has had a lot of history behind it which makes it what it is today.

Generic History[edit | edit source]

Aclevo was started in 2015 by Reasonably Selenium as part of a self-rebranding and to rework on his previous failed endeavors. During this time, a new platform called Discord started to replace Skype as the place to manage relationships, helping to give a new avenue to the idea. In 2016, Aclevo published it's first video about WPS Office Suite, recorded by Hayden (MyPlaceOnYT). Later on that year, many people started to join Aclevo and eventually helped make Aclevo the big community it is today. In 2017, Aclevo had the one of the biggest expansions in it's history.

Logo Designs[edit | edit source]

Various logo designs were implemented throughout the lifespan of Aclevo. A once common joke was to redesign the logo every April 1st to celebrate the first significant rebranding. After the current reopening of Aclevo, the idea was later tossed when Graphic Designer RedPCat made the current redesign.

As Aclevo[edit | edit source]

[edit | edit source]

This is one of the old Aclevo Logo's from November 21st, 2015

When the Aclevo name first came to mind, Sean (TheOceanBreeze) designed a logo to go along with his new brand idea using a Neuropol font for the wordmark and a template pixelart from a logo generator website. The pixelart demonstrates a person with a green shirt holding a gray ball in his hand. It was meant to represent youth and freshness, and the fact that this was a new journey/start for Aclevo. Created on November 21st, 2015, it symbolizes the official start of what was to come.

It was found deep in the archives in some uncategorized folder; the owner thought he had actually lost the logo until he was relieved to have found it. This special piece was used on some of the alpha versions of the Aclevo Website. ~ Aclevo Website Archive - About Page from March 3rd, 2018[1]

[edit | edit source]

This was the old Aclevo Logo from December 6th, 2015.

Aclevo very quickly changed the logo, just a couple of weeks after the release of the first logo. There is no recorded information on why the logo was changed, however Sean loved graphic design at this time, which may have been a big contributor. Another theory may suggest the standardization of an official logo. It is much simpler than the first logo idea, with an "A" without a line in between, and the other letters stacked on the right. It maintains the previous color scheme of green and gray. Nevertheless, the design has influenced the future designs, and even the current logo takes some resemblance.

This "A" represented a peak of a mountain where the entirety of the organization met. This would later be the basis for all of the logos designs. It was used during one of the alpha stages of the website. At this stage, no one really knew about Aclevo nor what it was about yet. In fact, Sean was the only member of the organization at this point. ~ Aclevo Website Archive - About Page from March 3rd, 2018[1]

[edit | edit source]

This is the Aclevo Logo from December 24th, 2015.

By December 24th, 2015, Sean wanted to represent Aclevo in a more simplistic manner. The word-mark was retired and replaced with a simple symbol to emphasize this. The green and gray theme was also retired to move away from the fitness style. The mountain-like shape was cut out of a blue circle to represent a cleaner image. For many, this would be their first introduction to what Aclevo actually was when they first joined, seeing as this was around when the first members started to come along.

Some could say this is the first modern logo of Aclevo for several reasons. For one, it is the first to introduce the blue circle design. For two, there were no members other than Reasonably Selenium before this logo, and therefore no one else would recognize the previous ones. For three, the logo represented the major growth era where we were getting a major head start and expanding rapidly.[1] ~ Aclevo Website Archive - About Page from March 3rd, 2018

[edit | edit source]

This is the fourth Aclevo Logo, used from July 24th, 2016 to December 27th, 2016.

In 2016, it was decided that a more professional version of the Aclevo mountain or "peak design" should be used. A flatter design with a less cartoon look helped embrace the idea of seriousness in contrast to the previous logo which came from a font. It would be considered one of the most popular blue circle designs until it was succeeded by the next logo in December.
